iPhone app - Still a work in progress.

September 9th, 2008

I’m still working on the iPhone app. Here is a little peek:

Music - Wings for the Queen finished in the studioohh!

August 6th, 2008

We finished up a few days ago. It was a long, tedious process but I think the songs sound pretty good. I’ll post them soon. Here are some pictures of the last day. (We mostly sat around while the engineers mixed and mastered the songs.)

Order at the Drive-True

July 31st, 2008

“Welcome to Alberto’s can I take the order please? Ok, thanks you please pull forward.”

Nothing like ordering food in the drive true!

Attention Male Restroom Patrons!

July 31st, 2008

Someone taped this above one of the stand-up urinals today. I know people have bad aim but when I looked on the floor I could see the reason for the note. Appearantly some guy thinks its funny to play tic-tac-toe on the floor… with his pee.

What the pho?

The WordPress app I got from the app store isn’t working that well so I thought I’d try posting from Safari. Looks like I can’t upload pics from my phone :(

Music - Wings for the Queen in the studioohhh!

July 27th, 2008

We began recording last Sunday at a small studio in Silverlake. We’re working on three new songs and a re-make of ‘Same to You.’ If you’ve seen any of our live shows then you’ll remember Ben rapping in the middle of ‘Same to You.’ That’s why we’re recording it again! I’m excited. Here are some pics.

Music - Paper Plane

July 26th, 2008

Paper Plane is the second major evolution of a band I’ve been playing with for a few years. (Team Prestige -> Paper Plane -> Wings for the Queen) We recorded these songs in 2005. Enjoy :)

Flash Fun - Boot Camp

July 26th, 2008

Probably the best thing ever. I whipped this up while working the graveyard shift in Japan. Audio is from the movie Full Metal Jacket. My friend Gerald makes another appearance. (Circa 2002)

iPhone App - GymBuddy

July 26th, 2008

I’ve decided to give up on this iPhone app. You have to pay $99 to join the Apple iPhone Developer program in order to download a provisional file that is needed to test apps on a physical iPhone device. I know there are ways around this but geesh… These screenshots were taken on the iPhone simulator. It took so long to figure out X-code and get the app this far. Since I’m not really a developer (and this stuff takes up way too much free time) I’m going to leave it alone. If Apple decides to make the whole process a little easier someday then maybe I’ll finish it. In the meantime, enjoy the pics :)

Update: I’ve decided to finish this and put it in the App Store.
